It has been a great week. On Tues. I had the ladies from my Bible studies over for brunch. It was a really nice time getting to know one another. Then Jen flew in from Calif. on Thurs. night for the long weekend. Of course it started to snow just when Steve left for Denver to pick her up. Thurs. and Fri. was Parent teacher meetings for him, so he had to work till 7:30PM. It only took him an hour to get to the airport but it took two and a half to get home. They arrived after midnight. It is good to have Jen here though. She spent Fri. shopping and cooking for us. She made tacolasagna for dinner and homemade sweet rolls for Sat morning. Sat. night I made my Valentines a special dinner. Steve surprised me with a beautiful Ruby necklace. He is such a sweetie. Jen made some great choc. Brownies. Then it was time for a round of Uno. Rebekah had a hot date with Rick her "friend". He sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers earlier in the day then took her out for a nice dinner and movie. He also brought her a box/heart of chocolates, a stuffed penguin and a star that she can pick out of the sky and name. It will be her personal star in the heavens. Not bad. Rick is a really nice guy.
On Sun. it was off to church for the early service, then off to Fargo's for pizza. After a good nap it was time for tea and a round of Hand and Foot. Then Eric, Jen and Bekah went to the movies and Steve and I cuddled up to watch a new season of Amazing Race. Tomorrow Jen leaves after a trip to the Outlets in Castle Rock, and I will start playing Bunco with the girls again. Looking forward to it. Have a great week. God Bless
